- The Kamani Charity Trust Prize for the best postgraduate student of Otorhinolaryngology at AIIMS, Delhi 2001.
- Distinction in Anatomy-II with a first class in Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and ENT at Thanjavur Medical College in 1996.
His remarkable academic achievements include:
- Advanced Fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, USA, in 2014. He also holds the honorary position as the first ENT surgeon under the International Fellowship Program to receive this qualification.
